Why Do We Need Another Economics Textbook?
The book will not just change economic thinking. It will change thinking all together. It will introduce research methods for readers to become their own economists and test theories for themselves. By challenging the way we think and by challenging currently accepted economic theories, we are on a mission to improve everyone’s economic future through better decision making.
The Coronavirus has intensified a tendency to question experts and their suspected biases. This book will not only teach readers to apply more competent thinking skills to decipher “fake news,” but will also give them the foundation to become the masters of their own financial future.

"HOW" to Think, NOT "WHAT" to Think
2020 has created a tenuous environment for discourse. The Coronavirus, the protests and the election have amplified an intolerant divisiveness in our country. This divisiveness is fueled by many sources including media outlets and social media outlets.
One way to help mitigate this divisiveness is to teach everyone HOW to THINK— not WHAT to think. Many combatant arguments today are fraught with logical fallacies such as confirmation bias, appeal to hypocrisy and others. However, while most of us think we know how to think but we have never been taught how our brains actually process information—we truly DO NOT know how to think.
Mission of the Course
The mission of this course is to teach students how their brain is wired up and how to test their thinking as well as the thinking of others. This course will also help students separate “fake news” from factual news and help to stop the propaganda that has been propagating in our country.
